What is an Adventure Room?
Odyssey Augmented (OA) is powered by cutting-edge augmented reality technology to transport you to adventures in exotic new settings. The current OA adventure is situated in deep space where your team crews a space craft on a mission. Our room is configured physically as a stunning spaceship interior with dynamic sound effects and with view screens showing the simulated world outside.
Your group will pilot spacecraft, explore distant planets, and engage in thrilling space battles. OA is pioneering a new frontier of interactive entertainment and our Houston location is the world’s exclusive destination for this experience.

Meet your ship : The Aspiration
Every part of the ship must work in harmony. Your captain will coordinate your crew that can take up to 5 crew stations for piloting, navigating, engineering, defending and surveilling. You will work together to make the Aspiration an unstoppable force for good in the galaxy.

FAQ
Is this Adventure Room different than an escape room?
An escape room is a cooperative experience that usually involves solving puzzles, riddles, following clues, and uncovering secrets.
Our adventure room is much like a typical escape room in many ways. You will work together with your friends or family to solve problems and accomplish a mission. However, unlike most escape rooms, the problems are not the typical mini-brain teasers (like finding the combination to a lock). Instead, the problems are dynamically simulated events and tasks, like the spaceship taking damage during a battle and your team needs to repair the damage. While some of the tasks may feel like puzzles, the focus is on creating an exciting and immersive simulation that challenges groups to work together as a team.
If you’ve done escape rooms before, our experience will feel familiar, but it will also feel new and immersive in a whole different way.
How Many People Can Play?
How long is the experience?
Our missions are designed to take no more than one hour to complete. However, you will need to check in, and each participant will need to sign a waiver, so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before your booking time.
If it looks like you will arrive right on time or late, please call us so we can make arrangements. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your booking to accommodate another group. Most of the time, we can make it work, but we want to respect other customers' time as well.
Is 8 years old the youngest that can play?
You are welcome to bring younger players; however, players under 8 will likely need help or guidance from a parent or guardian.
You may also bring very young children or infants without needing to pay for them as players. We recommend using a carrier, as playing one-handed or while holding a child can be very difficult for most roles.
